Nurse Jess began her career as a registered nurse injector and quickly distinguished herself as a sought-after practitioner at the practice of world-renowned plastic surgeon Dr. Garth Fisher, a name synonymous with excellence in aesthetic medicine. There, she refined her craft treating a distinguished clientele of celebrities, public figures, and private patients, earning a reputation for delivering results that were as natural as they were transformative. Her skill, discretion, and artistry made her one of the most trusted injectors in Beverly Hills, and her patient following grew to reflect that.
After establishing herself as a leader in her field, Nurse Jess made the decision to channel her expertise into building something of her own. She co-founded LA Ageless Medical Aesthetics alongside Dr. Jonathan Sykes, one of the world’s foremost authorities in facial plastic surgery, creating a practice rooted in clinical excellence, regenerative medicine, and the art of facial balancing.
Nurse Jess holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing, and is currently pursuing her PhD, a testament to her belief that the best injectors never stop learning. She has been injecting since 2015 and holds her Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS) designation, one of the most rigorous credentials available in aesthetic nursing.
What truly sets Nurse Jess apart is her global approach to beauty. She has traveled internationally to study the cultural influences that shape aesthetic ideals, training and learning abroad to understand the unique anatomical features of diverse ethnicities, and how to honor them. Dr. Jonathan Sykes serves as the Collaborating Physician and share holder of LA Ageless Medical Aesthetics, a Beverly Hills practice he helped establish alongside his distinguished protégé, Jessica Filippini, RN, MSN, CANS. Recognized for her exceptional expertise in facial balancing aesthetics, Nurse Jess has emerged as a leading voice in the field, bringing a refined, results-driven approach to every patient she treats. Together, Dr. Sykes and Nurse Jess have built LA Ageless on a foundation of clinical integrity, natural outcomes, and an unwavering commitment to ethical aesthetics. Under Dr. Sykes’s continued oversight and medical direction, Nurse Jess serves as Lead Injector, ensuring that every treatment reflects the highest standards of safety, precision, and artistry.
Dr. Jonathan Sykes is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon with over 37 years of experience and more than 20,000 aesthetic and reconstructive surgeries to his name. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and George Washington University School of Medicine, Dr. Sykes completed his residency in head, neck, and facial plastic surgery at Northwestern University before serving three years as a facial plastic surgeon in the U.S. Air Force.
For over 30 years, Dr. Sykes served as Director of Facial Plastic Surgery at UC Davis Medical Center, where he became one of the most respected leaders in his field. He has served on the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) for a decade, holding the roles of Western Region Vice President, VP of Education, and President in 2010.
A prolific educator and published expert, Dr. Sykes has edited six textbooks, authored over 200 scientific articles and book chapters, and delivered more than 1,000 lectures across the globe. He has reviewed for leading journals including Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Aesthetic Surgery Journal.
Dr. Sykes’s commitment to elevating the field earned him the prestigious William Wright Teaching Award from the AAFPRS. He has personally trained over 75 residents and 25 fellows, hosted more than 100 international visitors at UC Davis, and performed live surgical demonstrations in over 15 countries. He is a certified instructor for Sculptra® and botulinum toxin injection techniques, and founded the Sykes Face Sculpting Institute in Beverly Hills, an advanced training program covering neurotoxin, dermal fillers, thread lifts, and non-surgical facelifts through hands-on cadaver dissection and live demonstrations.
Dr. Sykes specializes in rhinoplasty, facelift, brow lift, eyelid surgery, Facial Feminization Surgery, and the full spectrum of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures of the face and neck.
